Kailash Chandra Pradhan has done his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Economics from Pondicherry Central University and Master degree in Economics from University of Hyderabad. He joined the Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar (MGCUB) in September 2019. He is having more than 11 years of research and teaching experience. Before joining MGCUB, he served as a Joint Director at National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development (NILERD), NITI Aayog, Delhi and Associate Fellow at National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), Delhi. He also worked as a Visiting Fellow at Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, Australia and Consultant at World Bank, Washington DC, USA. His areas of research interest includes macro-econometric modelling, forecasting and simulation, Derivatives and risk management, Rural economics, Development Economics and Impact Evaluations. He teaches Mathematics for Economics, Statistics for Economics, Econometrics and Research Methodology. He has published 19 research papers in refereed international & national journals and edited books. He has completed 11 collaborated research projects sponsored by various ministries of Government of India, National and International Agencies like International Development Research centre (IDRC), Canada; World Bank; Centennial group, USA; Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai; NITI Aayog, Delhi and etc.
